The current generation Cherokee is offered in four trim versions, namely the base model Laredo, Overland, Limited and high performance version SRT8. As far as the Grand Cherokee interior is concerned, it has adequate head room and leg room. All the models have the front head room of 40 inches and rear head room of 39 inches. The front leg room and the rear leg room of the car are 41.7 inches and 35.5 inches respectively. The new model has the luggage capacity of up to 34.5 cu ft and it has the maximum cargo capacity of 68.5 cu ft. In total five passengers can be accommodated into the car.
Engine
The standard engine to all the models is a 3.7 liter V6 engine that produces power up to 210 hp, whereas the other engines offered as optional include 4.7 liter V8 model that can deliver up to 305 hp, 6.1 liter V8 model that can deliver up to 420 hp and a 3.0 liter turbo diesel V6 model. The standard transmission to all the models is five-speed automatic.
