Grand Cherokee Review

The present generation Grand Cherokee ranked 15 out of 29 mid-sized sport utility vehicles available. This was given based on the test drives, safety ratings, and reliability delivered by the model.
The current Cherokee is a tremendous off road model with a luxurious interior, five strong engine choices and plenty of options. The comfortness provided by the model cannot match to the comfortness provided by the other models in its SUV class.

The fuel economy produced by the engine is poor when compared to the other models. The comfort and the rear seat room in the model may disappoint the passengers. But the model is very solid, providing nice drive facility, tenacious off road and fine ergonomics.

Engine

The new model is featured with the 5.7 liter Hemi V8 engine along with the innovative option packages. The model is being offered in four different trim levels, namely base Laredo, performance minded SRT8, Limited and Overland models. All the four models are available in either two or four wheel drive, except to the SRT8. The SRT8 is offered with only four wheel drive. The optional engine to the Overland and Limited trim is a V6 diesel model.
