2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Problems

Heated Seat Problems
Jeep recalled more than 100,000 Cherokee for defective heated seats. The heating elements used to control the temperature of the heated seat caused seats to overheat.
The seating elements were overheated to extreme temperature levels thereby causing personal injury to passengers.
Temperature Control Problems
The temperature control model on 2001 Cherokee was not working on the heated seats. This defective temperature control module caused the heating element to blow a fuse.
The blown fuse of the temperature control module has to be replaced with a new of the same ampere.
Other Problems
A nut in the steering gear box was coming loose causing the steering wheel to lock.
The exterior-lighting on the 2001 Cherokee models were insufficient illuminate headlights and reflectors.
The master cylinder of Cherokee was found leaking the brake fluid. The plastic grommet connector on the fuel pump was not compatible with gasoline.
NHTSA suggested the dealers to replace or repair defective 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee facing problems at free of cost.
