The 1993 Grand Cherokee was available in only four door body structures with a rear lift gate. The power to the vehicle comes from the 5.2 liter V8 engine that produces power up to 220 hp and torque of 230 lb ft. This vehicle is mated with the five-speed manual transmission, while it offered four-speed automatic transmission as an optional.
The 1993 model was offered in three different versions namely, base, Limited and Laredo models. The interior region in the vehicle is good, though the spare tire occupies some space. Leg and head room are very generous all around and 3 adults can fit in the back seat very easily. The rear doors in this model were narrow at the bottom and do not open wide to allow large people.
