The 02 Grand Cherokee is a mid-sized SUV offered in three trim levels- base Laredo, high performance Limited and in sport versions.
Engine
The SUV model is powered by a 4.0 liter V-6 engine that produces power up to 145 kilo watts at an angular speed of 4600 rpm and torque of 230 lb ft at an angular speed of 3000 rpm. The engine in the 02 version has two valves per cylinder and overhead valve. It has the bore size of 98.4 mm, stroke of 86.7 mm and compression ratio of 8.7.
Features
As far as the ride and handling features in the 02 model are concerned, it includes a beam front and rear suspension with coil springs and stabilizer bar, ABS, full size steel rim internal spare wheel, axle ratio of 3.55:1 and four disc brakes including two ventilated discs.
The sport utility vehicle has the wheel base of 2690 mm. The length, width and the height of the 02 Grand Cherokee are 4610 mm, 1836 mm and 1763 mm respectively. The interiors in the 02 model include a fixed mast antenna, 12v power outlet, front seats cigar lighter, air conditioning, coming home device, door warning system, courtesy lights, cruise control and door entry lights.
